Greetings,

Thanks for coming to my blog.  As you likely have already noticed this blog is a reservoir to hold onto my various random thought and ruminations on the Christan life as I strive to live each day.  I have come from many Christian backgrounds, growing up in the Catholic school system, taking on Protestantism in my youth and finally settling into Orthodoxy.

I live in Louisville, Ky with my three little girls Emmy (5 yrs), Mirabelle (3 yrs.), Liliana (7 mos.) and my darling wife Erin.  We have belonged to the community of  St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox Church since Pascha of 2008, so I am new to living as an Orthodox Christian.  In that sense, this blog relates the findings, right and wrong, of a Christian who, having grown up in the consumerist and individualist culture of the U.S., is following the path of the ancient Church living in community and seeking a Trinitarian lifestyle.

Forgive me for my shortcomings and accept this blog simply as my offering to you what I learn as I grow.  I will be wrong, maybe sometimes right, but with God’s grace this search will be profitable.
